For the past two years, Fetola & Associates have teamed up with UK Fair Trade support organization, Shared Interest, to offer an informative series of Fair Trade workshops.
Shared Interest Foundation is a UK-based development charity that provides training and education in Fair Trade awareness, as well as more general business and financial management. Other stakeholders, including Fair Trade South Africa (FTSA), Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA), Fair Trade in Craft South Africa (FACSA) and the Southern African Fairtrade Network (SAFN) have also been involved with this series of training workshops.
As there are significant benefits to local producers who are Fair Trade accredited, at Fetola & Associates we feel that more South African companies should know about the potential benefits of becoming part of the Fair Trade movement, hence these workshops and our linkages with Shared Interest.
