The Wholesale and Retail SETA craft skills training programme
Designed to improve the success of black-ownership up the value chain by developing craft retail and wholesale skills, the Fetola WRSETA training pilot programme provided 90 owner-managers with applied business skills training. The two module course (Run a Small Business and Sell to Customers in Retail and Wholesale Business) was very well received by over 90 learners from four provinces.
This is what two of the attendees of the Retail and Wholesale Skills Training Course had to say about the impact of the training:
“Since our training huge changes have taken place in our business. Packaging has improved and prices have been adapted. We now have retail and wholesale prices. Policies have been included in all invoices and quotations. I have started looking around for better prices for buying materials and now have started buying from Johannesburg and Pretoria. As you can see the training you have provided has been put to good use! Soon everything will be smooth running and you will be invited to come have a look. Thank you!!“ Shahieda Salie – Owner, Kreations
“This course has shown me exactly what mistakes I have been making in my business, and more importantly, how to correct them. I cannot wait to get back to work to start implementing my newfound knowledge – watch this space!” Shareene Africa – Retail Sales Skills Training participant
